This article develops a universal weight system based on the minimal \(\mathbb{Z}_2^2\)-graded Lie algebra \(A_1^\varepsilon\) and applies it to the study of chord and Jacobi diagrams within knot theory. The authors derive explicit closed formulas and recurrence relations for the weights of diagrams, carefully using the STU relation and induction arguments. The worked examples at order four illustrate how the algebraic structure yields concrete evaluations. A central result is that the weight system exhibits a hybrid nature, combining features of both \(sl(2)\) and \(gl(1|1)\), reflecting the decomposition of \(A_1^\varepsilon\) into a central element and a quaternionic \(\mathfrak{so}(3)\)-like part. The paper also introduces a deframing procedure, showing that the framed weight system reduces to its unframed version by setting the parameter \(c=0\). Overall, the work contributes a novel and conceptually rich approach to constructing weight systems from color Lie algebras, with potential extensions to higher-rank or more general gradings.
