Abstract: Let be a countable group and denote by the equivalence relation induced by the Bernoulli action , where is endowed with the product Lebesgue measure. We prove that for any subequivalence relation of , there exists a partition of with -invariant measurable sets such that is hyperfinite and is strongly ergodic (hence ergodic), for every .
