This work proves new Lieb-Thirring type bounds on the eigenvalues of Schrödinger-type operators involving a fractional Laplacian, and Dirac operators, with a complex potential. Under appropriate conditions, these results say that the sum of the distances of the eigenvalues (in a compact subset of the complex plane) from the essential spectrum is finite. The proofs use complex analysis and a new resolvent bound in Schatten spaces for the unperturbed operator.
