Courant algebroids were introduced by \textit{T. J. Courant} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 319, No. 2, 631--661 (1990; Zbl 0850.70212)] and allow the treatment of Poisson and presymplectic structures in a unified framework. Note that Courant algebroids are not Lie algebroids, there is no classical theory of how to find a global geometric object integrating a Courant algebroid. In the article, an infinite-dimensional (Fréchet) Lie rackoid is constructed which hosts an integration of the standard Courant algebroid. To understand these results, recall that Lie rackoids are an integrated or group version of a Leibniz algebroid (see the authors earlier work [Ann. Global Anal. Geom. 50, No. 2, 187--207 (2016; Zbl 1418.17008)] for more information). The resulting Lie rackoid is a so-called path-rackoid with values in the cotangent bundle of a compact manifold. Its associated Leibniz algebroid is then studied. The authors show that the standard Courant algebroid arises as a quotient of their rackoid. To study the quotient structure, an equivalence relation is introduced which allows to show that the integrating object contains the integration (the so-called Weinstein Lie groupoid) of a Dirac structure given by a Poisson structure.
