The renormalization group (RG) technique presents a conceptual framework and mathematical language that has become ubiquitous in the theoretical description of many complex interacting many-particle systems encountered in nature. IT is also used in the study of the Ising model where one generalization is the so-called \(\lambda\)-model on the Cayley tree. This model has rich structure enough to illustrate almost every conceivable nuance of statistical mechanics. On the other hand, there are many investigations which state that \(p\)-adic numbers provide a more exact and more adequate description of microworld phenomena. In this paper the author studies phase transition phenomena of \(p\)-adic statistical models by means of renormalization methods in the measure-theoretical scheme. The whole paper is divided into six sections. After the introduction, we have a presentation of all necessary definitions and preliminary results which are used in the paper. Next, Section 3 provides a measure-theoretical construction of generalized \(p\)-adic quasi Gibbs measures for the \(\lambda\)-model. In Section 4, two different regimes are considered. There is a proof of the existence of generalized \(p\)-adic Gibbs measures in both regimes. The obtained recurrence equation defines a dynamical system. In Section 5, there is a verification and confirmation that the indicated predictions (via dynamical systems point of view) are indeed true. A summary of the paper is given in Section 6.
