The paper investigates a nice subject in harmonic analysis about spectrality or not of measures. The authors consider some specific measures obtained by convolutions of some mean-type Dirac measures. A sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of the infinite convolution is shown. Next, infinite convolutions generated by Hadamard triples are studied inducing non-compactly supported singular spectral measures. This result extends the existing works, which somehow use the fact that spectral measures are compactly supported. Finally, a characterization of the support of the extended class is provided by means of its dimension. The authors show precisely that the dimension of supports has the intermediate-value property. Overall, the present work constitutes a good contribution in the field by joining a series of works (Fuglede, Strichartz, Jorgensen, \dots) on spectral measures, frame spectral measures, self-similar (fractal) measures, wavelets, \dots, etc.
