The aim of the article is to establish existence of \(L_1\)-norms of the derivatives \(u_t\) and \(u_{x_ix_j}\) of bounded classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for second-order linear parabolic equations with Hölder-continuous coefficients. The author proves that, in the case when the initial data belong to the class \(C_{\omega}\) of continuous functions with a fixed continuity modulus \(\omega\), the Dini condition is necessary and sufficient for the existence of \(L_1\)-norms of the higher-order derivatives of bounded classical solutions to the Cauchy problem. The Dini condition also meets the necessary and sufficient condition for the classical solvability of a nonhomogeneous Cauchy problem in the class of right-hand sides possessing continuity modulus \(\omega\) [see \textit{D. R.~Akhmetov}, Sib. Adv. Math. 9, No. 2, 1-24 (1999; Zbl 1019.35503)].
