The authors consider multiplicative vector-valued forms on Lie groupoids and show that they naturally form a graded Lie subalgebra of the graded Lie algebra of the vector-valued forms on a manifold (with respect to the Frölicher-Nijenhuis bracket). They discuss some examples and characterizations of vector-valued forms on Lie groupoids.
