The focus of the paper is the study of systems \[ \frac{d x}{dt}=f(x),\quad x=(x_1,\cdots,x_n)\in\mathbb{C}^n, \] where \(f(x)=(f_1(x),\cdots,f_n(x))\), satisfies \[ f_i(\rho^{s_1} x_1,\cdots,\rho^{s_n} x_n)=\rho^{s_i-1+d}f_i(x_1,\cdots,x_n) \] for some positive integer number \(d\) and any \(\rho>0\). Such a system is called quasi-homogeneous. The Kovalevskaya exponents for such system are the eigenvalues of the matrix \(K=\partial_xf(c)+H\), where \(\partial_x f(c)\) is the Jacobian matrix of \(f\) at the point \(u=c\) and \(H=diag(s_1,\cdots,s_n)/(d-1)\). The authors give necessary conditions for the system above to be completely integrable using the Kovalevskaya exponents. Also, they show a connection between weak-Painlevé propery and the integrability of quasi-homogeneous systems. In line with these results, the authors also establish some results about the integrability of quasi-homogeneous systems in the sense of Bogoyavlenskij.
