The authors establish estimates of the Bergman projection on the Hartogs triangle \[ \mathbb H:=\left\{(z,w)\in\mathbb C^2:|z|<|w|<1\right\} \] in the weighted Berman space \(L^p(\mathbb H,\mu dV)\), where \(1 < p < \infty\) and \(\mu\) is some non-negative locally integrable (with respect to the Lebesgue measure \(dV\)) function on \(\mathbb H\). Moreover, the authors provide an example showing that their estimate is sharp. They also use their result to give an upper bound for the \(L^p\)-norm of the Bergman projection on the so-called generalized Hartogs triangle \[ \mathbb H_{m/n}:=\left\{(z,w)\in\mathbb C^2:|z|^m<|w|^n<1\right\}, \] where \(m,n\) are positive relatively prime integers.
