Let \(G\) be a group with the identity \(e\) and let \(S\) be a strongly \(G\)-graded ring. Under certain assumptions on \(G\), it is known that \(S\) is one-sided noetherian (artinian) if and only if the component \(S_e\) is one-sided noetherian (artinian). The author generalizes these results in the case when \(S\) is epsilon-strongly graded. As corollaries, the author extends some existing results by obtaining characterizations of noetherian and artinian Leavitt path algebras with coefficients in an unital ring. The author also obtains characterizations of noetherian and artinian unital partial crossed products which extend the existing results on partial skew group rings.
