The authors give sufficient conditions for the \(L_p\) Minkowski problem for \(\mathfrak{p}\)-capacity, for a discrete measure, \(0 < p<1\), and \(1<\mathfrak{p}<2\). Let \(p\in\mathbb{R}\), \(1 < \mathfrak{p} < n\), and \(K\) a convex body in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) containing the origin in its interior. The \(L_p\) \(\mathfrak{p}\)-capacitary measure \(\mu_{2p,\mathfrak{p}}(K,\cdot)\) is the finite Borel measure on \(S^{n-1}\) given by \[ \mu_{2p,\mathfrak{p}}(K,\omega)=\int_{\omega}h_K^{1-p}(u)d\mu_{\mathfrak{p}}(K,u), \] where \(\omega\) is a Borel subset of \(S^{n-1}\). The precise result of the paper is as follows. ``Let \(\mu\) be a finite positive Borel measure on \(S^{n-1}\) which is not concentrated on any closed hemisphere, \(0 < p<1\) and \(1<\mathfrak{p}<2\). Suppose \(\mu\) is discrete and satisfies \(\mu(\{-u)\})=0\) whenever \(\mu(\{u\})>0\), for \(u\in S^{n-1}\). \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] If \(p+\mathfrak{p}\neq n\), then there exists an \(n\)-dimensional polytope \(P\) such that \(\mu_{2p,\mathfrak{p}}(P,\cdot)=\mu\); \item[(2)] If \(p+\mathfrak{p}=n\), then there exists an \(n\)-dimensional polytope \(P\) and a constant \(\lambda>0\) such that \(\lambda\mu_{2p,\mathfrak{p}}(P,\cdot)=\mu\).'' \end{itemize} The result is proved by first studying the associated extremal problem to the above \(L_p\) Minkowski problem for \(\mathfrak{p}\)-capacity. The result for \(p>1\) and \(1 < \mathfrak{p} < n\) was obtained by \textit{D. Zou} and \textit{G. Xiong} in [``The \(L_p\) Minkowski problem for the electrostatic \(\mathfrak{p}\)-capacity'', \url{arXiv:1702.08120}].
