In this paper, the authors investigate analytic and numerical dissipativity for a class of nonlinear neutral functional differential equations. By applying existing continuous Halanay-type inequality, the dissipativity result of the equations is given. Then, by introducing a new generalized discrete Halanay-type inequality, they derive the dissipativity of implicit Euler method for the equations.
