In view of the quantum Painlevé-Calogero correspondence [J. Math. Phys. 53, No. 7, 073507, 19 p. (2012; Zbl 1276.81083); J. Math. Phys. 53, No. 7, 073508, 19 p. (2012; Zbl 1276.81082)], the authors study the inverse problem. In particular, under assumption that classical-quantum correspondence occurs they determine depending on the right-upper element \(b(x, t)\) of the matrix \(\mathbb{U}(x, t)\) ( the zero curvature condition \(\partial_x \mathbb{V} - \partial_t \mathbb{U} + [\mathbb{V}, \mathbb{U}]=0\) is going to be equivalent to one of the six Painlevé equations in the Calogero form for the simple zero \(u(t)\) of \(b(x, t)\)) two possible functional equations for the quantum potential \(V(x, t)\). Solving these functional equations for a rational, hyperbolic and elliptic function \(b(x, t)\), that due to correspondence satisfies the heat equation, the authors obtain a potential relevant exactly to one of the six Painlevé equations.
