Let \(\mathbb P^2\) be the projective plane over \(\mathbb C\). If \(\mathcal F\) is an algebraically integrable singular algebraic foliation on \(\mathbb P^2\) of degree \(r\) having 1 dicritical divisor appearing in its resolution then the degree of a general integral invariant curve is at most \(\frac{(r+2)^2}4\) and there is a positive integer \(\lambda\) such that \(\pi_{\mathcal F*}|\lambda\Delta_{\mathcal F}\) is a pencil and the rational map which it defines is a rational first integral of \(\mathcal F\). This leads to an algorithm which produces a primitive rational first integral of \(\mathcal F\). Related results with larger dicritical divisors are also presented.
