The origin of the (co)tilting theory goes back to the work of Bernstein-Gelfand-Ponomarev on reflection functors. Initially focused on finitely generated modules over finite dimensional algebras over a field, it quickly was generalized for other settings (e.g., arbitrary rings, infinitely generated modules). It is a long and rich story until the introduction of the so called (co)silting modules which generalizes the (co)tilting ones. The main aim of this paper is to deepen the understanding of the close connections among injective cogenerators, cotilting modules and cosilting modules viewing in morphism categories.
