A \textit{slice} of a subset \(B\) of a Banach space \(X\) is a non-empty subset formed by the intersection of \(B\) with an open half-space of \(X\). There are a number of Banach space properties that can be formulated in terms of slices. For example, \(X\) has the \textit{Radon-Nikodým property} (RNP) if every bounded convex subset of \(X\) has slices of arbitrarily small diameter; \(X\) has the local diameter two property (LD2P) if every slice of the unit ball has diameter two, \(X\) has the strong diameter two property (D2P) if every nonempty intersection of finite collections of slices has diameter two, and so on. The authors study this kind of properties in Orlicz-Lorentz function and sequence spaces \(\Lambda_{\varphi,\omega}\) and \(\lambda_{\varphi,\omega}\) equipped with the Luxemburg norm. The paper starts with the necessary background material on Banach function spaces and sequence spaces, Orlicz-Lorentz spaces and their Köthe duals. Then, a characterization of the RNP of Orlicz-Lorentz spaces is given. Namely, the space \(\Lambda_{\varphi,w}\) has the RNP if and only if the following two conditions are satisfied: \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] either \(\varphi\) is an \(N\)-function at infinity or \(\lim_{t\to 0+} \frac{t}{W(t)} =0\), where \(W(t)=\int_0^t w(\tau)\,d\tau\); \item[(ii)] \(\varphi\) satisfies the appropriate \(\Delta_2\)-condition. \end{itemize} The space \(\lambda_{\varphi,w}\) has the RNP if and only if \(\varphi\) satisfies the \(\Delta_2^0\)-condition. After that, the authors pass to a number of geometrical properties including the LD2P, D2P, SD2P, the diametral D2Ps, and the Daugavet property.
