In this article, the author is interested in the partial and the microlocal regularity of the solutions of the equation \[M_{n,m}u=f,\] where \(M_{n,m}\) is the generalized Métivier operator \[M_{n,m}=D_x^2+(x^{2n+1}D_y)^2+(x^ny^mD_y)^2\] with two positive integers \(n\) and \(m\), and where \(f\) is an analytic function at the origin of \(\mathbb R^2\). This work is the continuation of the work [\textit{G. Chinni}, ``On the sharp Gevrey regularity for a generalization of the Métivier operator'', Math. Ann. (to appear)], where the author studied and proved that the operator \(M_{n,m}\) is \(G^{\frac{2m}{2m-1}}\)-hypoelliptic and not better in any neighborhood of the origin of \(\mathbb R^2\). To study the partial regularity, the author proceeds in a similar way to [\textit{A. Bove} and \textit{D. Tartakoff}, Commun. Partial Differ. Equations 22, No. 7--8, 1263--1282 (1997; Zbl 0921.35043)] by estimating a suitable localization of a high derivative in the directions \(D_y\) and \(D_x\) iteratively using a convenient subelliptic estimate. As for the microlocal regularity, it is obtained via the Fourier-Bros-Iagolnitzer-technique [\textit{A. Grigis} and \textit{J. Sjöstrand}, Duke Math. J. 52, 35--51 (1985; Zbl 0581.35009); \textit{J. Sjöstrand}, Astérisque 95. Paris: Société Mathématique de France (SMF) (1982; Zbl 1384.35004); ``Lectures on resonances'', unpublished lecture notes (2002), \url{http://www.math.polytechnique.fr/sjoestrand/CoursgbgWeb.pdf}] and the 2013 result of [\textit{P. Albano} and \textit{A. Bove}, Wave front set of solutions to sums of squares of vector fields. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2013; Zbl 1293.35005)].
