The Minkowski problem in Gaussian probability space was posed by Huang, Xi and Zhao [\textit{Y. Huang} et al., Adv. Math. 385, Article ID 107769, 36 p. (2021; Zbl 1466.52010)]. When Gaussian volume of convex bodies is not less than 1/2, Huang, Xi and Zhao used Erhard inequality to obtain the uniqueness part of the Gaussian-Minkowski problem. The present paper focuses on the Gaussian-Minkowski problem in dimension 2. The authors show that if the Gaussian surface area measure is proportional to the spherical Lebesgue measure, then the corresponding convex body has to be a centered disk. As an application, this ``uniqueness'' result is used to prove the existence of smooth small solutions to the Gaussian-Minkowski problem via a degree-theoretic approach.
