The author studies a superposition operator generated by a multivalued nonlinearity on the product \([0,a]\times X\), where \(X\) is a separable reflexive Banach space. Under suitable hypotheses, he proves the existence of a selection which assumes convex weakly compact values and is upper semicontinuous in the weak topology of \(L^p([0,a],X)\). The abstract result is applied to an evolution inclusion of the form \[\begin{cases} -\dot{x}(t)\in A(t)x(t)+ U(t,x(t))+V(t,x(t)),\\ x(0)\in D(A(0)) \end{cases}\] in a separable Hilbert space, where \(A(t)\) is a family of maximal monotone operators, and \(U\) and \(V\) are multivalued perturbations.
