In the paper under review, the author provides a new example of an unexpected hypersurface with multiple fat points. We say that a reduced set of points \(Z \subset \mathbb{P}^{N}\) admits an unexpected hypersurface of degree \(d\) for multiplicities \(m_{1}, \dots, m_{s}\), if for general points \(P_{1}, \dots, P_{s}\) the zero dimensional subscheme \(m_{1}P_{1} +...+m_{s}P_{s}\) fails to impose the expected number of conditions on forms of degree \(d\) vanishing along \(Z\). One of the main problems related to this subject can be formulated as follows. Problem. Does there exist a non-empty set \(Z\) in some \(\mathbb{P}^{N}\) which admits an unexpected hypersurface with at least \(2\) general fat points? The main result of the paper under review tells us that in \(\mathbb{P}^{5}\) there exists a non-empty set \(Z\) which admits an unexpected hypersurface of degree \(4\) for multiplicities \(3\) and \(2\), and this hypersurface has only isolated singularities. The set \(Z\) of points is constructed with the use of a certain Fermat configuration of points.
