      Consider the chemotaxis system with indirect signal production \begin{align*} \partial_t u & = \mathrm{div}(D(u) \nabla u - S(u)\nabla v) + \mu (u-u^\gamma)\text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \\ 0 & = \Delta v-v +w\text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \\ 0 & = \Delta w-w + u\text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \end{align*} supplemented with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions and initial condition \(u_0\in C(\bar{\Omega})\), \(u_0\ge 0\). Here, \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain of \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(n\ge 1\), with smooth boundary, the functions \(D\) and \(S\) belong to \(C^2([0,\infty))\) and satisfy \[ D(s) \ge a_0 (s+1)^\alpha, \quad |S(s)|\le b_0 s (s+1)^{\beta-1}, \qquad s\ge 0\,, \] with \(a_0>0\), \(b_0>0\), \(\alpha\in \mathbb{R}\), and \(\beta\in\mathbb{R}\), and \(\gamma>1\) and \(\mu>0\) are parameters. When the damping induced by the logistic term \(\mu (u-u^\gamma)\) dominates the chemotactic drift, i.e., \(\gamma\ge\beta+1\), the existence of a non-negative global solution, which is bounded in \(L^\infty(\Omega)\times W^{1,\infty}(\Omega,\mathbb{R}^2)\), is shown. Furthermore, when \(\mu\) is sufficiently large, then \[ \lim_{t\to\infty} \Big[ \|u(t)-1\|_\infty +\|v(t)-1\|_\infty + \|w(t)-1\|_\infty \Big] = 0, \] with an exponential rate. The stabilization result relies on the construction of a Lyapunov functional which is similar to the ones already available in the literature and developed to prove the same result for similar models.
