Gentle algebras are particular combinatorially defined special biserial tame algebras. It was shown by Schröer and the reviewer that the class of gentle algebras is stable under derived equivalences. An important tool is the Happel functor embedding the derived category of the algebra \(A\) into the stable category of the repetitive algebra of \(A\). The stable category of the repetitive category of a gentle algebra \(A\) is well understood and Bekkert and Merklen described in a very combinatorial fashion the image of this embedding. The paper under review describes the Auslander-Reiten triangles of the derived category of the gentle algebra \(A\) inside the stable category of the repetitive algebra of \(A\).
