Let \(\Lambda_0,\dotsc,\Lambda_{n-1}\) denote the standard fundamental weights of the affine Lie algebra \(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n\). The authors give a monomial realization of tensor products \(\bigotimes_{k=1}^N B^{1,s_k}\) of \(U'_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)\)-crystals \(B^{1,s}\) of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules corresponding to dominant \(\mathfrak{sl}_n\)-weights \(s\overline{\Lambda}_1\), where \(s>0\). In addition, they show that their construction is naturally compatible with the monomial realization of highest weight \(U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)\)-crystals \(B(\lambda)\) from [\textit{J.-A. Kim}, Math. Ann. 332, No. 1, 17--35 (2005; Zbl 1155.17304)], via crystal isomorphisms \[B(\lambda)\cong B^{1,s}\otimes B(\mu),\] which are a special case of those arising in the path model of [\textit{S.-J. Kang} et al., Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 7, 449--484 (1992; Zbl 0925.17005)] and [\textit{S.-J. Kang} et al., Duke Math. J. 68, No. 3, 499--607 (1992; Zbl 0774.17017)]. Connections to other models for Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals are discussed, as are potential applications.
