A subset \(A\) of a vector space \(X\) is called lineable whenever \(A\) contains, except for the null vector, an infinite-dimensional vector subspace. Several variations of this idea were introduced over time, such as spaceability, algebrability, moduleability. Up to now there are very few general results involving lineability and related concepts. Most of the proofs are constructive and depend on specific arguments. In this very interesting paper, the authors provide several general criteria for lineability in different contexts. The results are mainly applied to function spaces.
