The author studies properties of linear operators defined on \(\mathcal{B}(\Omega)\), the \(\ell^2\)-valued Bergman-type space on a domain \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb C^n\). In particular, the author gives an estimate for the essential norm and a sufficient condition for compactness of a linear operator \(T\) acting on \(\mathcal{B}(\Omega)\). Under some additional assumptions on \(\mathcal{B}(\Omega)\), the author shows that the operator \(T\) ``is compact if and only if it is in the Toeplitz algebra and its Berezin transform vanishes at the boundary of \(\Omega\)''.
