The authors study the singular parabolic-elliptic limit of the doubly parabolic Keller-Segel system in the framework of scaling critical uniformly local Lebesgue and Morrey spaces. The approach is related to that in the recent papers [\textit{M. Kurokiba} and \textit{T. Ogawa}, J. Differ. Equations 269, No. 10, 8959--8997 (2020; Zbl 1443.35070); SN Partial Differ. Equ. Appl. 3, No. 1, Paper No. 3, 56 p. (2022; Zbl 1487.35037)]. The main tool is a delicate property of maximal regularity of parabolic equations.
