Reduced-order adaptive sliding mode control for nonlinear switching semi-Markovian jump delayed systems

A switching semi-Markovian jump delayed system with control and disturbance is considered. A linear switching surface is proposed, and stability properties of the corresponding reduced-order sliding mode dynamics are obtained. An adaptive sliding mode control law is constructed forcing the state to reach in finite time the switching surface. Two examples are presented.
