The pseudo-arc

In this nicely written expository article, the author, who is a well-known specialist in continuum theory, gives a survey of basic results and examples involving the pseudo-arc. Formal proofs are omitted in the presentation. Instead, indications of some basic arguments and construction techniques are given. The paper consists of eight sections. 1. Construction. 2.
