This paper generalizes Poisson actions of Poisson Lie groups to Dirac actions of Dirac Lie groups. The author first reviews the background material that is needed here. Then he extends a result of J.-H. Lu which states that the cotangent Lie algebroid and the action algebroid for a Poisson action form a matched pair. He finally obtains a full and explicit classification of Dirac actions.
