Recall that a function \(f\) on the complex plane is called \(n\)-analytic if it satisfies the equation \(\frac{\partial^n f}{\partial\bar{z}^n} = 0\). For a real number \(\alpha>-1\), the weighted Bergman space \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) consists of all \(n\)-analytic functions on the unit disk that are square integrable with respect to the weighted Lebesgue measure having the radial weight \( \frac{(\alpha+1)}{\pi}(1-|z|^2)^{\alpha}\). In the case \(n=1\), one obtains the standard weighted Bergman spaces of analytic functions on the disk. The authors first illustrate that disk polynomials form an orthonormal basis for \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) and provide a Fourier decomposition of \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) into an orthogonal direct sum of subspaces each of which corresponds to a frequency. (It should be noted that each such subspace can be recognized as a subspace of \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) consisting of quasihomogeneous functions of a given degree.) The remaining main results are as follows. Theorem 1 asserts that in the case \(n\geq 2\), the set of all Toeplitz operators on \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) with bounded symbols is not weakly dense in \(\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2)\), the algebra of all bounded operators on \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\). (On the other hand, it was proved by \textit{M. Engliš} [Ark. Mat. 30, No. 2, 227--243 (1992; Zbl 0784.46036)] that for \(n=1\), the set of all such Toeplitz operators is dense in \(\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{A}_{1,\alpha}^2)\) in the strong operator topology.) Theorem 2 (respectively, Theorem 3) provides the structure of the von Neumann algebra of all radial operators on \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) (respectively, on \(\mathcal{A}_{(n),\alpha}^2=\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\ominus\mathcal{A}_{n-1,\alpha}^2\)). Descriptions of Toeplitz operators on \(\mathcal{A}_{n,\alpha}^2\) and on \(\mathcal{A}_{(n),\alpha}^2\) with bounded radial symbols are also obtained.
