In the present paper the author surveys the strategy employed in [\textit{R. von Kanel} and \textit{A. Kret}, ``Integral points on coarse Hilbert moduli schemes'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2307.06944}] which bounds explicitly the height and the number of the solutions of certain Dioophantine equations by relating them to integral points on moduli schemes of abelian varieties. Let \(\sigma_i\) denote the \(i\)-th elementary symmetric polynomial, and let \(X\subset \mathbb{P}_{\mathbb{Z}}^4\) be the surface defined by the equations \(\sigma_2=\sigma_4=0\), which is the classical surface first studied by Clebsch and Klein, and let \(Y=X\setminus Z\), where \(Z\) is the set of the \(\mathbb{Z}\)-points of \(X\) given by the five permutations of \((1,0,\cdots,0)\). The above mentioned strategy allows to prove the following theorem: Let \(S\) be a finite set of rational primes and let \(\mathbb{Z}_S=\mathbb{Z}[1/N_S]\) with \(N_S=\Pi_{p\in S}p\). Then any \(P\in Y(\mathbb{Z}_S)\) satisfies \(h(P)\leq cN_S^{24}\) and it holds \(|Y(\mathbb{Z}_S)|\leq (cN_S)^{\kappa}\), where \(h\) is the logarithmic Weil height and \(c=10^{\kappa}\) with \(\kappa=10^{12}\). A key point of the proof of this theorem is that the surface \(Y/\mathbb{Z}\) becomes over \(\mathbb{Z}[1/30]\) a coarse Hilbert moduli scheme and then the theorem follows from the general result (Theorem A in [loc.cit.]) for \(S\)-integral poins on coarse Hilbert moduli schemes.
